Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Mission Software Engineer to join the Imaging Interfaces team. You will spend meaningful time keeping fielded systems alive, triaging issues across the full stack, and serving as a technical representative for our products in integrations with external teams and customers.

The work is varied and sometimes ambiguous, from extending a gRPC service to diagnosing a time sync issue on deployed devices, with travel to support customer integrations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development with production responsibility.
• Strong Python and C++ skills; comfortable in either language.
• 5+ years in Linux-based environments, including bare-metal hardware.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve issues across system boundaries.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own fielded system health and uptime; triage and resolve issues across the stack.
• Build and maintain modular production services on edge devices.
• Support field operations with customers and field operators; communicate clearly under pressure.
• Represent the team in integrations with other products and teams; speak credibly across the system stack.
