Job summary

Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join the Imaging team. You will be the frontline for keeping fielded imaging systems alive, triaging issues across the stack, and guiding rapid resolution in the field.

You’ll run point on escalations, build durable runbooks, and work with Mission Software Engineers to reproduce defects while protecting frontline support. Travel ~15% for field work is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in SRE, DevOps, field/systems engineering, or production support of deployed hardware/software systems
• Strong Linux fundamentals, including network troubleshooting in constrained/field environments
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose across system boundaries without full visibility
• Comfortable owning a structured on‑call rotation, including after-hours/weekend coverage
• Strong written/verbal communication, including remote troubleshooting with non-technical operators
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret clearance

Responsibilities

• Own fielded system reliability for deployed imaging systems
• Run point on escalations for support channels (Tier 0 to Mission Success/Product Ops to SRE)
• Turn recurring issues into runbooks and self‑service tooling
• Hold boundary with engineering; reproduce defects and hand off to Mission Software Engineers
• Feed reliability insights back into the product for better observability and safer upgrades
