Job summary

CEC Companies is seeking a Workforce Coordinator I to support real-time labor coordination, project staffing, and internal labor tracking across active projects. The role requires organization, responsiveness, and clear communication with field teams, superintendents, and workforce leadership.

You will deploy labor, manage onboarding readiness, coordinate with TA/HR/Payroll, and maintain the Workforce Tracker.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of experience in workforce coordination, scheduling, or field operations.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with workforce systems or trackers.
• Experience in fast-paced, deadline-driven operations or field support roles.
• Familiarity with HRIS systems (e.g., Paycom), SharePoint, and Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily assignment and deployment of internal and leased labor.
• Communicate jobsite assignments and onboarding statuses to field leadership.
• Maintain the Workforce Tracker and ensure readiness 48 hours prior to deployment.
• Partner with TA, HR, and Payroll to confirm all hiring steps are cleared.
• Escalate delays or conflicts in assignments to Director of Workforce.
• Assist with licensing compliance and badge expirations.
• Participate in labor alignment meetings and provide workforce readiness updates.
• Provide strong customer service support to internal teams and job site leadership.
