Job summary

Entergy is seeking a Supervisor of Work Management to drive reliability and execute the long-cycle Work Management operating model. You will coach staff, ensure work readiness, and resolve barriers affecting schedule reliability and field productivity.

This role collaborates across Asset Management, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain and more to optimize resource plans, manage backlog, and support storm response and emergency restoration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Management, or related field preferred.
• 8+ years of utility operations, planning, engineering, Work Management, or field operations experience.
• Strong knowledge of planning governance and backlog management.

Responsibilities

• Supervise long-cycle Work Management personnel, including Work Management Planners, with leadership and accountability.
• Lead long-cycle Work Management activities: work identification, prioritization, planning, work readiness, backlog management, capacity planning, forecasting, and schedule readiness.
• Monitor planning performance, work readiness, backlog health, forecast accuracy, resource utilization and schedule readiness; identify gaps and implement actions.
• Oversee work package quality, material and permit readiness, outage coordination, labor estimates and execution readiness for safe field execution.
• Collaborate with Asset Management, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Vegetation, Construction, Reliability and other stakeholders to identify optimal resource plans and reduce execution risk.
• Drive adoption of standardized Work Management processes, technologies, reporting, and data quality; support storm response and business continuity.
• Provide status reports and scorecards to support accountability of goals like governance, overtime governance, schedule adherence, and productivity.
• Serve as escalation point for scheduling and dispatching issues.
• Work with Field Work Management Manager to deploy resources across the jurisdiction.
• Serve on Incident Response Team during storm events.
