Job summary

Entergy is seeking a Supv, Field Work Mgmt Ops (SC) to lead short-cycle Work Management, scheduling, and field operations. You will coach staff, manage day-to-day execution, and drive adoption of field tech and dashboards to improve reliability and customer commitments.

You will supervise schedulers and support roles, coordinate with stakeholders, and report on performance metrics. This role operates onsite in a critical utility operations environment with storm readiness responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent utility operations experience.
• 8 years of progressively responsible utility operations or Work Management experience.
• Strong understanding of short-cycle Work Management and scheduling disciplines.
• Ability to supervise, coach, train, and develop employees in a standardized operating environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise short-cycle Work Management personnel and provide day-to-day direction, coaching, training, and accountability for standard work execution.
• Execute scheduling, dispatching, territory planning, commitment management, backlog review, break-in work governance, exception management, execution tracking, and work order closeout.
• Monitor schedule attainment, dispatch effectiveness, backlog health, aging work, and closeout accuracy; identify gaps and take corrective action.
• Provide first-line oversight of scheduling, resource utilization, and escalation of priority conflicts.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve readiness gaps and ensure prioritized, tracked work is completed.
• Drive adoption of Work Management technologies, dashboards, and standard system usage; ensure adherence to processes.
• Provide status reports and scorecards to support accountability and governance.
• Serve as escalation point for scheduling and dispatching issues.
• Serve on the Incident Response Team during storm events.
