Job summary

The role requires extensive fieldwork with equipment handling, precise documentation, and collaboration with stakeholders to support recommended repairs or replacements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training preferred.
• Experience in wood pole inspection or utility maintenance preferred.
• Able to travel up to 75% and work outdoors in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Execute detailed inspections of wooden utility poles based on safety guidelines and company protocols.
• Evaluate structural integrity and look for decay, cracks, splits, or infestations.
• Ensure safety compliance and propose repairs or replacements as needed.
• Accurately record findings in data collection app, take photos, and attach supporting information.
• Communicate inspection outcomes to stakeholders and support action implementation.
• Suggest improvements to inspection procedures and tools for efficiency and accuracy.
