Job summary

Baker Hughes Company is seeking a Wireline Field Operator to join our OFS Wireline Team in the United States. You will perform all duties at well sites and in the shop, maintain units, complete pre-job, in-job and post-job tasks, and train junior operators.

Role requires strong mechanical aptitude, CDL with Hazmat endorsement, ability to travel regionally, and readiness to work on-call with safety at the forefront.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education required.
• Heavy mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience with tools and engines.
• CDL with Hazmat endorsement or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for jobs and perform tool maintenance, pre-job and post-job checks.
• Rig up and rig down equipment at the well site.
• Service devices and maintain logging cable heads, perforating cable heads and tools.
• Maintain well site/DOT records and communicate with the District Manager.
• Promote and maintain good customer relations.
• Drive company vehicles safely and comply with regulations.
• Supervise and train junior Field Operators with a strong safety mindset.
