Job summary

Intracom Telecom in the United States is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to support microwave and millimeter-wave radio systems across the USA. You will handle customer technical support, field deployments, installation supervision, and troubleshooting throughout the product lifecycle.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on RF expertise, knowledge of L2/L3 networking, Linux, and SNMP, with 8–10 years in technical support or field engineering roles and the ability to travel within the USA.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications/Electrical Engineering/Physics.
• 8–10 years of proven experience in technical support or field engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience with point-to-point microwave and/or point-to-multipoint RF systems.
• Strong RF theory knowledge including link budget and antenna alignment.
• Working knowledge of Linux and network protocols (L2/L3, VLANs, SNMP).
• US work authorization and residency in the US; willingness to travel within the USA.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for wireless MW and mmW systems and related network protocols.
• Travel to customer sites to supervise installation, alignment and commissioning and train customer engineers.
• Manage computer systems and hardware with IT and desktop support practices.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on escalations and product improvements.
• Liaise with customer teams to communicate findings and prepare documentation.
