Job summary

Jaxon is seeking a dedicated Field Welder to join our Colorado Springs team. This full-time role focuses on welding, fabrication, and construction, including reading blueprints, grinding, and painting to meet strict tolerances.

The ideal candidate has MIG welding experience, can pass AWS weld tests, and is prepared to travel as needed with per diem support. We offer strong benefits, competitive pay, and supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Requires welding/fabrication experience in manufacturing or related field.
• Proficient in MIG welding and welding of carbon steel, stainless steel, and nickel alloys.
• Ability to pass AWS weld tests (D1.1, D1.3, D1.6, D9.1, and B2.1).
• Capable of welds using FCAW, GMAW, GTAW processes and 3G/4G/6G plate tests.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding, fit-up, fabrication, and general construction tasks, including grinding and painting.
• Read and interpret blueprints to assemble components within tolerances.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure safety, quality, and company standards.
