Job summary

Jaxon is seeking a Field Welder in Colorado Springs, CO to join our team. This role involves welding, fabrication, and construction tasks, reading blueprints, and ensuring safety and quality standards. Travel is required at times; per diems available.

The position offers competitive pay from $25.00 to $33.00 per hour plus benefits such as life and health insurance, PTO, a 401(k) match, and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret or Top-Secret clearance as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous welding, fabrication, or related manufacturing experience.
• Proficiency in MIG welding and ability to weld carbon steel, stainless steel, and nickel alloys.
• Ability to pass AWS-qualified welds and related standards (D1.1, D1.3, D1.6, D9.1, B2.1).

Responsibilities

• Perform welding, fit-up, fabrication, and general construction tasks, including grinding and painting.
• Read and interpret blueprints to build and assemble components within required tolerances.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company standards.
• Collaborate with team members to complete work on time, resolve issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives
