The role requires ability to produce X-ray quality welds, read blueprints and weld symbols, pass shop math and weld symbols tests, and hold 2G/3G FCAW & GMAW certifications (6G FCAW/GMAW; GTAW preferred). Must be US citizen; HS diploma and welding training preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma; formal welding training or apprenticeship preferred.
• Experience producing X-ray quality welds and reading weld symbols.
• Ability to fit complex weldments with attention to tolerances and heat effects.
• Proficiency with carbon steel, stainless steel and nickel alloys.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding and fabrication on structural, piping, and vessel components.
• Produce X-ray quality welds and fit complex weldments with tolerance awareness.
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and shop drawings.
• Operate welding equipment safely and adhere to company standards.
• Collaborate with team to meet project specifications and deadlines.
