Job summary

TEAM Industrial Services, Inc. seeks an experienced welding technician to lead field welding operations at client sites and facilities.

You will perform welding per certified procedures, read schedules, set up equipment, and document activities, ensuring quality and safety in a demanding environment. The ideal candidate has 3+ years welding experience, a valid driver's license, and ability to pass a Code Welder exam.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Associate’s degree or vocational training or relevant industry experience required.
• Minimum 3 years of welding experience.
• Must pass a standard Code Welder exam.
• Ability to operate GTAW, SMAW and GMAW welding equipment.
• Ability to read engineering specifications.
• Driving license required and TWIC card or ability to obtain TWIC.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform field welding operations at facilities or client sites per certification and processes.
• Operate welding machines to join or bond components per client specs and engineering drawings.
• Read production schedules and plan tasks and select appropriate welding methods.
• Perform testing and inspection of welded surfaces and documentation of welding activities.
