Bigge Crane and Rigging Co. is seeking a Field Service Mechanic in Houston to repair and maintain rough terrain, crawler, and mobile crane equipment, along with forklifts. The role centers on service and repair of equipment, welding, and fabrication work.

Qualifications include a minimum of three years welding/metal fabrication experience, stick/mig welding proficiency, and 3G/4G certifications, with 6G training offered. Overtime and safety compliance are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years experience in welding and/or metal fabrication.
• Proficient in stick and mig welding activities.
• Aluminum and tig welding is a plus.
• Must be willing to train and test to become 6G certified.

Responsibilities

• Cutting and welding plate and pipe.
• Fabrication projects for trucks, trailers, cranes, and equipment repairs.
• Lattice boom repair; replace boom lacings.
• Perform boom and lacing inspections per manufacturer specs.
• Competent inspections of all cranes.
