Job summary

Kestra Medical Technologies, Inc. is seeking an ASSURE Patient Specialist (APS) to support the sales team in Seattle, WA. The APS will fit and train local patients with the wearable Assure device and coordinate with regional clinical advisors.

The role requires travel to hospitals and patients' homes, strong patient care skills, and the ability to schedule services, including daytime, evening, and weekend hours. Training and credentialing will be provided by Kestra.

Qualifications

• 1 year in a paid patient care experience (not as a family caregiver).
• Clinical or engineering background which may include nurses, cardiac device sales reps, clinical engineers, cath lab techs, PAs, or ECG techs.
• Background checks including level 2 for certain states; vaccination status and HIPAA training may be required.

Responsibilities

• Fit and train local patients with a wearable defibrillator via dispatches from corporate headquarters.
• Provide instruction and instill confidence in Assure patients with patient care skills.
• Contact prescribers, caregivers and patients to schedule services.
• Travel to hospitals, patients' homes and healthcare facilities to provide fittings.
• Manage inventory of Assure system kits, garments and equipment used in fittings.
• Adhere to confidentiality policies and hospital procedures.
