Job summary

Kestra Medical Technologies, Inc. seeks an ASSURE Patient Specialist to fit and train patients with a wearable defibrillator in the Seattle area, supporting the sales team and Clinical Advisors. The role is paid per fitting and requires travel to hospitals and patient homes.

The candidate will train as an ASSURE Patient Specialist, have at least 1 year of paid patient care experience, and possess a clinical or engineering background. Flexibility for day/evening/weekend hours is expected.

Qualifications

• 1 year in a paid patient care experience (not as a family caregiver).
• Clinical or engineering background such as nurses, cardiac device sales reps, clinical engineers, cath lab techs, PAs, or ECG techs.
• Disclosure of personal NPI number (if applicable).
• Background check completion; Florida and Ohio require level 2 screening paid by Kestra.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Ability to travel to hospitals and patients’ homes for fittings.

Responsibilities

• Fit and train local patients with a wearable defibrillator via assignments from corporate HQ.
• Provide instruction and instill confidence in Assure patients.
• Schedule services by contacting prescribers, caregivers, and patients.
• Travel to hospitals and patients’ homes to provide fitting services.
• Measure patients to determine garment size and ensure proper fit.
• Manage paperwork and transmit documentation for garment/services.
