Job summary

Kestra Medical Technologies, Inc. is seeking an ASSURE Patient Specialist (APS) in Cincinnati North, OH to support the sales organization by fitting wearable defibrillator patients and training care teams.

The role is paid per fitting and requires travel to hospitals and patients’ homes, plus ability to work flexible day/evening/weekend hours. Certification as an ASSURE Patient Specialist will be provided by Kestra.

Qualifications

• 1 year in a paid patient care experience (not as family caregiver).
• Clinical or engineering background may include nurses, cardic device sales reps, cath lab techs, ECG techs.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record; ability to travel in the region.
• Ability to obtain hospital credentialing and complete background checks.

Responsibilities

• Fit and train local patients with a wearable defibrillator as a contractor APS.
• Instruct and instill confidence in Assure patients during fittings.
• Contact prescribers, caregivers, and patients to schedule services.
• Travel to hospitals and patient homes for fitting services.
• Manage inventory of kits and electronic equipment used in fittings.
