Job summary

Kestra Medical Technologies, Inc. in Memphis, TN is seeking a contractor ASSURE Patient Specialist (APS) to fit and train patients with a wearable defibrillator. This role requires traveling to hospitals and patients' homes, providing fitting services, and maintaining essential paperwork and inventory.

Qualifications

• 1 year in paid patient care experience (not as a family caregiver).
• Clinical or engineering background including nurses, cardiac device sales reps, clinical engineers, catheterization lab techs, physician assistants, or ECG technicians.

Responsibilities

• Fit and train local patients with a wearable defibrillator (APS) and complete required certifications.
• Provide instruction and instill confidence in Assure patients.
• Contact prescribers, caregivers and patients to schedule services.
• Travel to hospitals and patients' homes to provide fittings.
• Measure patients to determine garment size and manage related paperwork and inventory.
