Job summary

MWH Constructors, a global leader in heavy civil construction for water and wastewater facilities, seeks an experienced Pipefitter for a wastewater treatment plant project in Gypsum, Colorado. You will interpret plans, cut and fit piping, and install with proper safety practices on site.

Ideal candidates have experience with HDPE, ductile, PVC and copper piping, and a strong commitment to production targets while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Experience with HDPE, Ductile, PVC and copper pipe.
• Commitment to safety and meeting production targets.
• Pre-employment drug screening and background checks required.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety program on site.
• Configure pipe system layout with mechanical superintendent.
• Select pipes, hangers, and other components.
• Assemble materials and cut, thread, and weld pipes as needed.
• Secure pipes to walls, tanks and fixtures; set process equipment.
• Repair and maintain pipe systems and respond to issues.
