Job summary

Integrated Water Services Inc is seeking an experienced Pipefitter to participate in planning and installation of pipe for water and wastewater treatment plants, both above ground and underground. The role involves collaborating with other craft workers to deliver a quality product safely and efficiently.

The candidate must have a high school diploma, at least 3 years of construction experience, and 2+ years in mechanical piping for water/wastewater.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years' construction experience.
• 2+ years of mechanical piping and pipeline experience with water/wastewater treatment.
• Knowledge of general construction safety and trench safety guidelines.
• Experience with cast iron, PVC, and steel piping.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job site.

Responsibilities

• Work in trenches, vaults, and above ground to assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment according to manufacturer and plan specifications.
• Attach pipes to walls, structures, and fixtures using brackets, clamps and tools.
• Measure, mark, and cut or thread pipe.
• Plan pipe system layout and installation according to plans, specifications, and approved pipe drawings.
• Cut and bore holes in structures such as bulkheads, decks, walls, and mains prior to pipe installation.
• Perform work safely by being aware of surroundings, other work being performed, and other workers on the job site.
• Assist other workers as needed.
