Job summary

Central States Water Resources in Flagstaff, AZ is seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Technician to maintain and repair the electrical and control systems across water utilities. Responsibilities include installing monitoring technologies, diagnosing issues, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role requires 5+ years of related experience, water/wastewater exposure, and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

5+ years of electrical and instrumentation experience including control panels.
Must have water/wastewater experience.
Minimum high school graduate.
Knowledge of Federal, state, and local requirements for utility systems.
Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

Install monitoring and control technologies (Hightide), VFDs, and IS/ electrical equipment (control panels, flow meters).
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment and systems.
Diagnose and repair equipment and perform circuit analysis.
Calibrate equipment according to specified standards.
Ensure equipment and systems meet regulatory and compliance standards.
Participate in safety programs and work in a safe, accurate, and compliant environment.
Initiate work orders pertaining to utilities equipment and information systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Ensure compliance with electrical code requirements.
Perform work on water and wastewater systems and related equipment as necessary.
All other duties as assigned.
