Job summary

Lambert's Cable is seeking a Warehouse Technician to manage receiving, storage, and distribution of goods. You will prepare orders, verify inventory, and ensure accurate packing and shipping while following safety guidelines.

You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks, stock shelves, and support supervisors with shortages and restocking. A DOT physical may be required; 18+ and US work authorization are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Valid state driver's license with a clean record.
• Able to pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical card.
• Experience operating forklift and pallet jack preferred.
• Basic computer and inventory control knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Prepare orders for shipment according to pick tickets and customer requirements.
• Check and verify inventory to ensure availability of needed stock.
• Notify the Supervisor of shortages and packaging material restocking needs.
• Package and ship products according to packaging guidelines and practices.
• Stock shelves in the warehouse and put away new materials.
• Organize pick tickets and cross-check them with packing slips and work orders.
• Receive, unload, and inspect shipments; confirm accuracy with packing slips and purchase orders.
• Operate dolly, pallet jack, and/or forklift for loading and unloading materials.
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed.
