Job summary

Lambert's Cable is seeking a Lead Warehouse Technician to manage receipt, storage, and distribution of goods. You will ensure accurate orders, track inventory, and uphold safety and packaging guidelines in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include inspections, restocking, order preparation, and inventory checks while operating forklifts and pallet jacks. A 5-year warehouse track record, valid driver’s license, and ability to pass a DOT exam are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Valid State driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Able to pass a DOT physical exam and obtain a valid medical card.
• Experience operating a forklift and pallet jack.
• Five years of warehouse or material handling experience.
• Knowledge of computer and inventory control systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and periodic audits as needed.
• Resolve shortages and manage packaging material restocking.
• Prepare and verify orders for shipment according to pick tickets and customer requirements.
• Check and verify inventory to ensure stock availability.
• Package and ship products following packaging guidelines.
• Stock warehouse shelves and store new materials.
• Organize pick tickets and cross-check with packing slips and work orders.
• Receive, unload, and inspect shipments; confirm accuracy with packing slips and POs.
• Operate dolly, pallet jack, and forklift for loading/unloading.
• Work overtime, travel, and participate in on-call/afterhours duties as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What you’ll do

What you’ll need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
• Valid State driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record
• Able to pass a DOT physical exam, resulting in a valid medical card
• Experience operating a forklift and pallet jack
• Five years of experience in warehouse or material handling
• Knowledge of computer and inventory control systems

Physical abilities & exposures

• Routinely: work alone in remote locations, operate vehicle, bend, stoop, stand, walk, lift up to 55 pounds, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, climb stairs, use keyboard and mouse
• Occasionally: work in confined spaces or remote locations with arms above shoulder level, lift greater than 55 pounds, squeeze, fine hand motion, and use portable ladder
