Job summary

Lambert's Cable Splicing Co. is seeking a Lead Warehouse Technician to manage receipt, storage, and distribution of goods. You’ll ensure orders are filled accurately, track inventory, and enforce safety and packaging guidelines while operating warehouse equipment.

This role requires heavy travel. You will oversee audits, resolve shortages, and prepare shipments while maintaining precise packing and shipping records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean record.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical card.
• Experience operating forklift and pallet jack.
• Five years of warehouse/material handling experience.
• Knowledge of computer and inventory control systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and prepare periodic audits as needed.
• Resolve shortages and manage packaging material restocking needs.
• Prepare and verify orders for shipment according to pick tickets and customer requirements.
• Check and verify inventory to ensure availability of needed stock.
• Package and ship products according to packaging guidelines and practices.
• Stock shelves in the warehouse and put away new materials.
• Organize pick tickets and cross-check them with packing slips and work orders.
• Receive, unload, and inspect shipments; confirm accuracy with packing slips and purchase orders.
• Operate dolly, pallet jack, and/or forklift for loading and unloading materials.
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed.
• Other duties as assigned
