Job summary

ElectionSource is seeking an Equipment Support & Testing Technician to perform pre-election testing, setup, and troubleshooting for voting hardware. The role involves L&A testing to ensure accuracy and security, with travel to precinct facilities to deliver equipment and resolve issues.

Based in Michigan, the temporary position covers Wayne and Oakland Counties and nearby areas, running roughly four weeks with a flexible 7am–8pm window and paid training.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and access to a reliable personal vehicle.
• Ability to lift and maneuver equipment cases up to 35 lbs.
• Attention to detail and ability follow step-by-step checklists.
• Basic technical literacy to connect hardware and operate touchscreens.
• Strong communication skills when assisting jurisdiction staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-election testing, setup, and troubleshooting for voting hardware.
• Conduct Logic & Accuracy testing to ensure systems function accurately and securely.
• Rove to designated precinct facilities to deliver equipment and resolve issues.
• Work at a storage facility within Wayne County, Oakland County and surrounding areas in Michigan.
