Job summary

Election Systems & Software (ES&S) is seeking a Field Services Technician to install, test, and repair ES&S hardware and software across a defined territory. You will ensure election readiness and optimal performance of equipment.

The role requires travel approximately 70%, the ability to read manuals and electrical diagrams, and strong problem solving and customer service skills. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Vocational degree in electronic, mechanical or computer technology field preferred; or equivalent experience.
• Experience with electro-mechanical equipment and basic electronic/mechanical principles.
• Ability to read equipment manuals and basic electrical concepts.

Responsibilities

• Installs new and upgraded equipment and performs preventative maintenance and readiness checks on ES&S hardware and software.
• Plans and performs work with electronic and mechanical theories, reads manuals, uses basic tools and safe ESD techniques.
• Provides responsive service, trains customers on system operation and maintains maintenance records.
