Job summary

Mars Incorporated is seeking a Veterinary District Sales Manager for the Royal Canin line, covering the Florida West territory (Spring Hill, Hudson, Bushnell, Eustis, The Villages, Homosassa Springs). The role is field-based and requires residence within the territory.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of sales experience (B2B preferred), veterinary clinic background, and strong communication skills. Overnight travel (~20–30%) and occasional weekends are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2+ years of sales experience, preferably B2B.
• Veterinary clinic experience preferred.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral and written).
• Possession of a driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Overnight travel required, approximately 20-30% travel, weekends for conferences.

Responsibilities

• Translate knowledge of products, categories, customer and clinic data into business opportunities.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan by understanding clinic operating needs.
• Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers within assigned geography.
• Develop and deliver compelling, data-driven presentations to address veterinary staff needs.
• Develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders across BU and organization.
• Build partnerships and work collaboratively to meet shared objectives.
• Execute the Veterinary Business Unit sales strategy effectively.
• Work in a cross-functional, team-based environment in fluid, changing settings.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews with Line Manager and adjust strategies as needed.
• Budget and reporting: manage expenses and sales budget; complete CRM and reports timely.
