ArborMetrics invites an energetic Work Planner to join our outdoor vegetation management team. You will work independently in the field, contribute to safety and efficiency, and support customers with professional service in varied terrain.

The role emphasizes data collection, site assessments, and coordination with leadership while maintaining strong public relations and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifikationen

• Knowledge of tree species identification and hazard assessment.
• 30 semester credits / 45 quarter credits toward a degree OR 2-3 years of UVM experience without degree.
• Knowledgeable about Utility Vegetation Management practices.
• Experience with GIS software/technology as well as Microsoft Suite and an iPhone.
• Must be able to work alone outdoors in various weather conditions and terrain.
• Must have interpersonal and communication skills, problem solving and multitasking abilities.
• Must be able to adapt to change.

Aufgaben

• Identify and report safety hazards, incidents, and unsafe conditions.
• Follow AMS safety standards, including safe driving and wildfire prevention.
• Promote AMS values in daily actions and interactions.
• Drive to work sites and hike rights-of-way up to 10 miles per day.
• Inspect and document vegetation work at customer properties.
• Record vegetation data using tablets and specialized software.
• Use forestry computer systems for data entry and tracking.
• Address customer concerns and communicate with leadership, auditors, clients, and the public.
• Participate in storm and emergency response duties as needed.
