Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Additional courses in water/sewer installation or repair preferred.
• Experience in basic plumbing or installing water/sewer lines.
• Ability to read and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in repair of water mains and gravity sewer lines.
• Shovel debris and dig trenches as needed.
• Assist in maintenance and repair of meters; install and replace meters.
• Load and unload materials; operate city vehicles.
• Participate in Standby Program, responding to emergencies.
• Observe safety practices and regulations.
• Perform related work as required.
