Job summary

You will undergo training, assist in developing maintenance plans, collect data, maintain equipment records, and follow all safety regulations. A valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 40 lbs are required; background check and drug test

Qualifications

• Must pass criminal background check and a drug test.
• Willing to travel locally, statewide, or regionally as required.
• Have the ability and mentality to work outdoors, in a physically demanding work environment and all-weather conditions, lifting or moving up to 40lbs.
• Demonstrate leadership abilities to successfully complete job tasks while accepting full responsibility for the safe operations and maintenance of the vehicle, equipment, and tools.

Responsibilities

• Undergo training to understand the basics of utility pole inspections, utility pole components, maintenance techniques and safety protocols.
• Learn and follow inspection procedures to evaluate the condition of utility poles including checking for structural integrity, signs of deterioration, pest infestation and damage caused by weather or external factors.
• Assist in identifying potential issues with utility poles and contribute to developing a maintenance plan.
• Complete inspection records, and report and follow appropriate codes and regulations.
• Collect field data and perform daily and weekly reporting activities.
• Maintain and keep records up to date on all tools, electronics, vehicles, and equipment.
• Adhere to company and government safety regulations.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned
