Job summary

USIC is seeking locators for field work nationwide. In this role you will locate underground utilities, document locations, and communicate findings. The position requires outdoor work, accuracy, and readiness for extended hours, with a company vehicle provided and comprehensive training.

The starting hourly rate is $19, with experienced locators earning up to $30 per hour. A valid driver’s license and ability to pass a drug screen are required.

Qualifications

• Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Proficiency with technology and field devices.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts when needed.
• Valid driver's license with safe driving record.
• Ability to read tickets, maps, and prints.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities safely and accurately in designated areas.
• Mark locations and document findings with photos as required.
• Complete locate tickets and related paperwork in a timely manner.
• Work in day shifts, overtime and on-call as needed.
