Job summary

USIC is seeking field-oriented locators to identify and mark underground utilities using company vehicles and equipment. This role requires safety-conscious, problem-solving individuals who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet a 48-hour turnaround on locates.

We offer a comprehensive training program, paid time off, a company vehicle and fuel card, and opportunities for advancement through our CPP program. Prior locating experience is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Proficiency with technology.
• Available to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.
• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
• Able to pass a drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities, including telecommunications, electric power, cable TV, gas, water, and sewer systems, safely and efficiently.
• Thoroughly search designated areas, mark locations, complete documentation, and photograph each locate.
