Job summary

USIC is seeking outdoor locators to identify and mark underground utilities in designated areas. You will use a company-provided vehicle to perform daytime fieldwork, completing locate tickets and photographing each site for accuracy.

No prior locating experience is required, but safety-conscious individuals who can lift up to 75 lbs, pass a drug test, and work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts will thrive. Training and advancement opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Must pass a drug screen due to safety considerations.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities safely and efficiently, including telecom, electric, gas, water, and sewer.
• Mark locations, document findings, and photograph each locate.
• Work daytime, full-time with overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.
• Communicate clearly with customers, contractors, and homeowners.
