Job summary

USIC Locating Services, LLC in Spring, Texas is seeking a full-time locator to identify and mark underground utilities in outdoor settings using company-provided vehicles. You will complete documentation and photos for each locate, with potential overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• Able and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Proficiency with technology.
• Available to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.
• Able to pass a drug screen (safety-sensitive position).
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Able to distinguish colors used to identify wiring.
• Able to read, understand, and reference locate tickets, maps and prints.
• Able to communicate clear and concise documentation to customers, colleagues, contractors, and homeowners.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities accurately and safely in designated areas.
• Mark the locations and complete required documentation and photography for each locate.
