Job summary

STV Incorporated in Greenville, NC is seeking Utility Inspectors for our Transportation division. You will support current staff while helping grow Construction Management and CEI services statewide.

The role requires travel to project sites, night/weekend work as needed, and a strong focus on safety on highway/bridge projects. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in utility installation/inspection, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to read relocation plans.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of utility installation/inspection experience.
Must read and interpret relocation plans.
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Apply safety philosophy to all duties and work safely outdoors.
Monitor contractor compliance with relocation plans.
Prepare daily inspection reports and document completed work.
Read and interpret utility relocation plans.
Communicate effectively with project staff and clients in writing and verbally.
Operate basic computer and tablet (iPad) applications.
