Job summary

STV is seeking Utility Inspectors in the Greensboro, NC region to support highway and bridge construction projects. You will verify relocation work, monitor safety, and collaborate with project staff and clients in a fast-paced field environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of utility installation/inspection or construction inspection, a valid driver's license, ability to lift 50 pounds, and willingness to travel nights and weekends as required. Sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in utility installation/inspection or construction inspection.
• Must hold a valid state driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, traverse rough terrain, and work outdoors in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Perform utility relocation verification activities for highway/bridge projects.
• Apply safety philosophy to all responsibilities and work safely outdoors.
• Monitor contractor compliance with relocation plans and prepare daily inspection reports.
• Read and interpret utility relocation plans and communicate with project staff and clients.
