Job summary

ACRT, Inc. is seeking a Consulting Utility Forester (CUF) 1 in New Jersey to inspect trees along utility lines, plan work, and guide crews. The role emphasizes outside work, accuracy, and clear communication with clients and crews.

The CUF 1 will perform inspections, record results, and coordinate with contractors, ensuring compliance with safety rules and client standards. Training opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Forestry, Biology, Natural Resources, Environmental Science or related field OR high school diploma/GED with 2 years of UVM experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Forestry or Horticulture is a nice to have.
• ISA Arborist Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and identify local trees along utility lines and document findings.
• Map circuits and coordinate with client tree trimming crews.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance during field activities.
• Audit and verify tree trimming and removal work in the field.
