Job summary

ArborMetrics Solutions, LLC is seeking a Contract Forester/Utility Forester to join the team for field vegetation management across utility corridors. The role emphasizes safety, independent work, and engagement with landowners and agencies.

Experience in electric utility vegetation work and ISA/ANSI awareness is valued. The position offers full-time hours, company vehicle with a fuel card, comprehensive benefits, and ongoing training with industry certifications.

Qualifications

• Experience in electric utility vegetation management in the field.
• Degree in forestry, natural resources, or related discipline (or equivalent work experience).
• Knowledge of tree identification; GIS/tech tools; strong communication.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Ability to work alone outdoors in varied weather/terrain with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Safely patrol energy corridors, identify vegetation for pruning, removal, or protection.
• Classify work per client standards and ANSI line clearance principles.
• Conduct Tree Risk Assessments and analyze growth rates.
• Coordinate with landowners, agencies, and contractors; obtain permissions.
• Audit contractor work for compliance with client specs and safety protocols.
• Participate in storm/emergency response and other duties as assigned.
