Job summary

ACRT Pacific, LLC is seeking outdoor-focused Consulting Utility Foresters to identify and assess trees along utility corridors. You will report findings to clients with actionable recommendations and coordinate crews across a geographic area.

The role requires a two-year forestry-related degree or equivalent experience, strong communication, and the ability to work independently in varied terrain and weather. Competitive benefits and a company vehicle are provided.

Qualifications

• 2 year degree in forestry, horticulture, environmental science or closely related field OR 2 years of related experience (UVM or similar).
• Competent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with GIS integrated data collection software/hardware preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Identify, inspect and evaluate trees and brush along utility lines.
• Submit inspection results to clients with recommendations.
• Plan, direct and coordinate activities of assigned vegetation clearance crews.
• Discuss and negotiate line-clearance crew access issues.
• Serve as a liaison between clients, tree crews and client customers.
