ArborMetrics (AMS) seeks a Consulting Utility Forester to join our outdoor team in North Carolina. You will safely patrol energy corridors on foot, identify vegetation for pruning, removal, or protection, and document findings while coordinating with landowners, agencies, and contractors to ensure compliance with client standards.

Requirements include an associate or bachelor’s degree in forestry or related fields (or equivalent experience), knowledge of GIS and MS Office, and a valid

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelore29s degree in forestry, natural resources or related discipline (or equivalent work experience).
• Experience in forestry, arboriculture, horticulture or tree-related green industry preferred.
• Knowledge of tree identification.

Responsibilities

• Safely patrol energy corridors on foot, identifying vegetation for pruning, removal or protection per Client standards.
• Classify prescribed work based on field environment and tree condition; use of herbicide.
• Conduct Tree Risk Assessments and analyze growth rates.
• Mark vegetation and prescribe clearance actions per Client directives (ISA pruning techniques & ANSI standards).
• Communicate plans with landowners, agencies and organizations.
