Job summary

Syngenta seeks a Trialing Specialist Technician near Evansville, IL, supporting the Northbrook site. This hybrid role covers planting, phenotyping, and harvest of research plots to produce high-quality data for corn, soybean, and wheat trials during peak growing seasons.

Responsibilities include operating machinery, maintaining equipment, and communicating progress with the team. Requires an Associate's degree in agriculture and a valid license; Farm work takes place in field and greenhouse

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in agriculture or related field.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving history.
• Ability to work in high/low temperatures in field or greenhouse.
• Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain agricultural machinery and research equipment.
• Plant, maintain, and harvest research plots to high data quality.
• Support field layout, planting, phenotyping, and harvest tasks.
• Communicate project status and data quality to team and supervisors.
• Work safely and comply with company policies and training requirements.
• Assist Trialing Manager to achieve desired results.
