Job summary

Syngenta in the United States is seeking a Trialing Specialist to support end-to-end research trials for vegetable varieties. You will plant, monitor, harvest, and evaluate trial entries, collecting precise data and coordinating with breeders, scientists, and growers across the East US region.

Ideal candidates hold a BS/BA in Agronomy, Horticulture, or related field, with strong English and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred in agronomy, horticulture or related field.
• Strong digital fluency with MS Office and databases.
• Excellent communication and English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end vegetable trialing, from planting to harvest.
• Collect detailed observations and data with accuracy.
• Coordinate with breeders, scientists and growers on trial progress.
• Operate GPS-enabled tractors and related equipment, ensuring safety.
• Maintain and input data in IT systems and databases.
• Support trialing team, including third-party labor, as needed.
