Qualifications

• Advanced degree (PhD or MSc) in Crop Science, Agronomy, Plant Breeding, Horticulture, Plant Genetics, or related field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in plant variety trialing or field trials.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to distill data into clear recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, execution, and analysis of on-station and off-station trials across assigned vegetable crops.
• Ensure high-quality trial data to guide data-driven product advancement.
• Collaborate with breeders, marketers, and commercial teams to translate trial results into recommendations.
• Select and optimize trial locations reflecting customer needs and best practices.
• Represent Syngenta with growers, seed dealers, and processors to secure strategic trial locations.
• Manage trial contracts and ensure accurate data entry and visualization.
• Present trial results and insights during Product Advancement Tours and product meetings.
• Provide market and customer insights to support strategic decisions across R&D and commercial teams.
• Champion safety, biosafety, and compliance in all research activities.
