Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have 5 years of experience in transmission line construction or maintenance.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to supervise multiple crews.
• Proficient in safety rules and transmission line practices.
• Able to plan, schedule, and coordinate outages and clearances.
• Must possess and maintain a valid CDL and be able to operate company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Supervise field line crews in construction, maintenance and operation of transmission lines.
• Ensure safe use of tools and equipment and supervise personnel training.
• Procure materials, tools, and equipment and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Maintain relations with employees and public safety around facilities and operations.
• Attend meetings and keep supervisor informed with records and reports.
• Perform duties of Transmission Line Mechanic-A as required and participate in personnel decisions.
