Qualifications

• 5 years of construction or maintenance and operation of transmission lines experience.
• Leadership skills and abilities preferred.
• Knowledge of line construction and maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Supervise line crews in the construction, maintenance and operation of transmission lines with safe practices.
• Ensure proper use of tools and equipment and safety of personnel.
• Procure materials, tools and equipment as required and ensure policies are followed.
• Maintain relations with employees and public safety around facilities and operations; follow manuals and labor contracts.
• Attend supervisory, site visit and work scheduling meetings as required.
• Maintain liaison between functions and provide records/reports as needed.
• Perform duties of a Transmission Line Mechanic-A as required and advise on personnel actions.
