Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking a Field Construction Manager to supervise construction activities on EPC/Design-Build projects. You will lead safety, quality, schedule, cost control, and contract administration while coordinating with engineers, procurement, and field teams.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Construction/Engineering with 7+ years of PM experience, strong communication and leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects at once.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field and 7 years of PM experience in construction.
• Experience may substitute for the degree requirement.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day construction activities and ensure timely, safe project delivery.
• Provide direction on planning, scheduling, estimating, cost development, and project objectives.
• Develop and manage client relationships; interface with client on proposals and project items.
• Negotiate contracts, subcontracts, and change orders.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and health plans across EPC/Design-Build projects.
• Manage subcontractors across disciplines and ensure schedule adherence.
