Job summary

Burns & McDonnell in Denver seeks a Construction Project Manager to support EPC project management from pre-construction to warranty. You will oversee safety, quality, schedule, cost control, contracts, and field teams across multiple projects.

The role requires strong communication, risk management, and coordination with engineering and client teams. Travel about 50% is expected; a Bachelor's in construction or related field plus 7 years of PM experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Construction, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field; 7 years of PM experience in construction.
• Experience may substitute for degree.
• Excellent computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with document control, scheduling, cost control and project management software is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail.
• Ability to handle large volumes of work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Multiple years of experience on construction project sites or program management in aviation, commercial, energy, etc., preferred.
• Basic understanding of GAAP.
• Must meet the company's driving requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day construction activities and ensure successful execution of one or multiple projects.
• Develop project plans, schedules, estimating, cost development and objectives.
• Negotiate scopes, contracts, and change orders; manage risk reviews.
• Develop client relationships and interface on proposals and projects.
• Review budgets, cash flow, and project status reports; present to management.
• Provide mentorship to interns and coordinators.
