Job summary

Renewal by Andersen is seeking an Event and Retail Marketing Trainer to convert new reps into confident lead setters. You will lead classroom training and field coaching, owning the first 60 to 90 days and modeling Renewal by Andersen’s lead generation process at events and retail locations.

Half your time is spent training and coaching; the rest is spent alongside representatives in the field. This hands-on role includes travel to events and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of high performance in a lead-setting or sales role.
• Experience training, coaching, mentoring, or developing others preferred.
• Experience in event marketing, retail marketing, or home improvement sales helpful.

Responsibilities

• Lead new hire training for Event and Retail Marketing representatives, including product knowledge, customer approach, and brand standards.
• Build and follow a practical coaching plan for each new hire’s first 60–90 days; adjust support based on strengths and progress.
• Visit events and retail sites regularly to demonstrate conversations, observe reps, give feedback, and practice skills with them.
• Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions with clear goals and concrete steps to improve.
• Lead advanced training and refresher sessions on objection handling and customer engagement.
• Master and reinforce lead-setting policies and procedures; maintain appointment quality.
• Use results and field observations to identify coaching priorities and measure training effectiveness.
• Collaborate with team leads and the Director of Event and Retail Marketing to ensure consistent training across markets.
• Create an engaging, supportive learning environment and provide candid feedback to build confidence.
• Keep training materials current; use Excel or spreadsheets to track progress; administrative work is limited.
