Page Mechanical Group, Inc. in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Traffic Control Technician responsible for setting up and maintaining safe work zones by directing traffic, placing signage, cones, and barriers, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

You will work outdoors in varying weather, read and follow TCPs, operate AFADs where required, perform equipment maintenance, and coordinate with crews and emergency personnel to protect workers and the public.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Certification as a Traffic Control Technician (TCT) or Flagger (e.g., ATSSA, NSC, or state-specific).

Responsibilities

• Set up, monitor, and remove temporary traffic control setups such as cones, signs, barricades, and arrow boards.
• Direct traffic using signs, hand signals, and flagging devices.
• Ensure traffic flow is managed safely around construction or maintenance zones.
• Follow and implement traffic control plans (TCPs) as directed by supervisors or engineers.
• Conduct regular inspections of the work zone to ensure safety compliance and proper setup.
• Report incidents, accidents, or unsafe conditions promptly.
• Maintain communication with work crews and emergency personnel as needed.
• Operate traffic control devices, such as AFADs, when applicable.
• Perform basic maintenance of equipment and tools.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
