Job summary

CNC Oilfield Services is seeking a skilled Torque & Test Operator for field-based work supporting 24/7 operations. You will perform torqueing, bolt tensioning, hydrostatic testing, and maintain equipment on BOPs, valves, and manifolds, ensuring safety and compliance on remote job sites.

Ideal candidates have basic mechanical aptitude, strong math skills for torque calculations, read and follow torque charts, and communicate clearly with customers and teams.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and math skills for torque calculations.
• Ability to read and interpret torque charts and customer specifications.
• Clear communication with customers and team members is essential.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform torqueing, bolt tensioning, and hydrostatic pressure testing services.
• Conduct static torque checks and verify specifications.
• Read torque charts, hydro test charts, and customer requirements; ensure accuracy of data.
• Track flange management data, torque values, tension values, and pressure test results.
• Operate and maintain hydraulic torque wrenches, torque packs, test pumps, hoses, and manifolds; perform minor repairs as needed.
• Verify pipe specifications and torque requirements with customers.
• Complete field tickets, work orders, and documentation accurately.
