Optimized Process Designs, LLC (OPD) is seeking a Torque Technician in Baytown, TX to support gas plant construction and field bolting operations. You will operate calibrated torque wrenches and hydraulic equipment, ensure joint integrity, and follow site procedures.

This role requires attention to safety and readiness for outdoor work. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of torque experience, familiarity with BOM materials, and the ability to work as part of a team under tight schedules.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as Torque Technician.
• Ability to operate and calibrate torque wrenches and torquing equipment.
• Comfort working outdoors in varying weather and environments.

Responsibilities

• Execute technical bolting and joint integrity services per procedures.
• Operate calibrated torque tools and torquing equipment.
• Bolt up flanges with correct materials per BOM and inspect connections.
